John A. LaVoie

Started J. A. LaVoie Equipment Sales, Inc. in February 1984 after 15 years with A. E. Finley and Associates of Richmond, VA. 

While working for A. E. Finley he received his knowledge of construction equipment sales by working his way from inside sales to outside sales.  A. E. Finley was the dealer for Galion Equipment, American Crane, Rogers Trailers and numerous shortlines.  There he sold everything from equipment trailers, to cranes, excavators, graders, pavers and rollers.

February 1, 1984 he started operating his business buying and selling used construction equipment, trucks and trailers as a licensed Virginia Division of Motor Vehicle Dealer.

Everyday you can find him at the office still buying, selling, and pulling the occasional wrench.
